End of Summer

We ended up going home sooner than we planned because John's Oma got sick. We new it wasn't good so we spent all day calling the airlines and trying to get someone that could switch our flights without all the fees. John and I stayed up most of the night packing up the apt (not that we could sleep much anyway) and we flew out the next morning. We left our car there because John was flying back in a couple of weeks to sell and go to the BYU vs. Florida football game. We flew into SLC airport and John went straight to Burley with Andy and his family. I stayed the night in Ogden with the girls and went up to Logan the next day to get the car. I'm so glad John went straight to see his grandma's because she past away the next morning. He was able to spend some time with her and be around family before she passed. John lived with his oma when he was younger and has lived close to her most of his life. He is very close to her. It seems that most the grandkids were. She was so funny and easy to talk to. She was a lot of fun to be around. John and I would stop in and visit her on our way out of Idaho and she always made our day. She will be greatly missed!

We all stayed at John's parents. It was nice to have the whole family together again. It was so fun to watch the cousins play together.

Everyone out for a four-wheeler ride!

We had a BBQ out back. Jake and Tiff brought the steaks and Dave grilled them up. Everything was delicious.

We went to Shoshone Falls with Andy and his family. Shoshone Falls is really special to John and me. When we were dating we would go there all the time. We would get KFC, hike up the trail and eat it at the top. Sometimes we would go inbetween classes or just whenever. It is so peaceful and so beautiful there! And most importantly, that is where John proposed :) It is our place. We hadn't been there in a few years so it was nice to go back.
We brought our own food for a picnic.

Our best atempt at a family photo. We have ten other tries and this is the best we've got :)

And last but not least we went over to the Coopers to watch Weston open up his mission call.

On Saturday we headed back to Logan to get things ready for Brynli's baby blessing. Here are the kids ready to go out and play!
