This is a cool little park in downtown Columbus. The park was surrounded by beautiful old, historic homes. I wish I would've gotten a picture of one :(
We went to the Coca-Cola Space Science Center in Downtown Columbus, GA. It has some pretty cool stuff but Madi's favorite part was playing on this piece of carpet with planets on it. Go figure. All these cool lights and buttons and she'd rather play on the carpet :). At the end there was a Sesame Street video which kept Madi's attention the whole time. It shows the characters in China to teach the kids that you can see the moon from anywhere in the world. And of course Elmo uses his imagination and he goes to the moon. Madi loves Elmo! Thank heavens she is getting to an age where that isn't the only thing she will watch. I can only handle so much Elmo :)
Brynli can hold toys now (pic at 3 months old)
Brynli is finally tall enough for the jumper!
My pretty girls!
This is the mat I set Brynli on to entertain her while I cook/clean. Madi thought she would be a big helper and set it on top of Brynli while I was in the other room:)
Playing with Daddy! Madi is a Daddy's girl. She cries everyday when John leaves for work and she clings to him the whole time he is home. John has always been good with kids and I feel so fortunate to not only have a wonderful husband but an amazing dad to my kids. When he gets home from work he scans the house to find me and show me some love. Then he plays with and distracts the kids while I get a few things done. This is all after working 8+ hours in the blazing heat. Oh how we love him! Most of these pics are on Sunday, the only day John has off. Madi is living it up!
I started Brynli on rice cereal at 3 months hoping she would sleep through the night. No such luck. She woke up 3 or 4 times a night after I started it. I think it hurt her tummy so I stopped. I think I will try again at 5 months. I thought this pic was funny though. The rice cereal filled her tummy and put her right to sleep!
I'm not quite sure what to do with the little stinker. She is the best baby in the world but she is not a good sleeper. She was sleeping 9 hours consistantly every night at 3 months and then she got sick for a week with a fever and it has been down hill since. She is very unpredictable. She wakes up 1-3 times a night, eats and goes right back to sleep. I've tried giving her more feedings during the day. I've tried making her wait every 3 hours. I stay home all day to make sure she is on a perfect schedule and gets good sleep in her bed. Babywise does not have a reverse method that I could find. I wish there was one perfect book to tell me exactly what I need to do :) Anybody have one of those?? I am open to any suggestions!!! I am extremely blessed because she is such a good baby but I sure wish she would sleep through the night sometime soon :)
