Washington

We stayed in Burlington, WA. for about 2 weeks. It was a little rough because we lived in a hotel and it rained all the time. So we did as many things as possible. There were some really great outlets in Mt. Vernon (5 min. away) so we went there on the light rainy days. We also went to the mall, the childrens museum, and we went to Chuck E. Cheese often. That is Madi's new favorite place. Mine too since it is inexpensive. Madi was terrified of Chuck E (the mascot) every time he came out to see the kids but she still talks about him like they were great friends. She's so funny. The girls also loved the children's museum. There was even a little gated area for young kids like Bryn to play in.

Here are some of the fun things we did at the Children's Museum.

This was the girls favorite station. Air was blowing up through the tube and you had to see which ball floats best. It was the wiffle ball incase you were wondering:)

We found Bert and Ernie at the outlet mall and Madi was so excited!

On our way to Seattle! We were all so excited to get out and spend time with Daddy. Eric Armstrong and Clint Root also came with us.

We went to the Farmers Market first and ate some good food for lunch and then went over to the space needle. We went all the way to the top and it was an amazing view!

We went to a Seatle Mariners game that night. It was opening night. When we got to the game John sat down to clear some space on our memory and accidentally deleted all the pics that we had taken so far that day. So the only pics of the space needle we have are the ones from my phone :(. We got some more pictures at the game though.

The Big Move

This summer we decided to move everything out of our townhouse in Logan and rent it out. John's Mom came and helped us pack for a couple of days and brought us a ton of boxes from the box factory in Burley. It was a lot of work (getting everything packed and into a storage shed in Ogden) but we want to move closer to Salt Lake area when we get home. It's been really nice having our mortgage covered for the whole summer too. Our trip was delayed 3 days because the girls and I got sick. We all had ear infections and Madi had croup as well. It's no fun traveling with ear infections so we waited it out. Thanks to Dr. Kurt we felt much better. Kurt was in the middle of a move as well and he took time out of his busy night to come look at my girls. Thank heavens he did. We drove to Burlington, WA around the 20th of March and stayed for 2 weeks. Then we drove to Alaska around April 7th.

Our empty house :(. I loved this house. I wish I could move it all over the place with us!

We had to pull a trailer out this year because John had a couple scooters to haul out. In Alaska there are areas where the houses are pretty far apart so it's convenient to have a scooter. Since we were pulling the trailer out anyway, I through my bike, Madi's tryc, the highchair, lots of toys, and other stuff that we normally wouldn't have room for so it was really nice.
Our big load...

Brynli's 1st Birthday!

Brynli turned one in March! We had both sides of the family over for pizza and cupcakes. We had a lot of people come and it turned out really well. Bryn is such a sweet girl and we are so happy to have her in our family. Happy Birthday baby girl!
