4th of July

I know it's kind of rediculous that I am almost a year behind on our blog but I am going to do my best to catch up! For the Fourth of July we went to Atlanta,GA. But before that Andy(John's brother), Katy, and the boys came to visit us in Montgomery, AL! We love having visitors. Especially in the summer because we miss being around family so much. They made a long drive with two young kids from Charlotte, NC. We were so happy they came and had a really good time. After a couple of days in Montgomery, we all drove to Atlanta, GA to see the fireworks and see a little bit of the city. Here are some pictures we took in the city near our hotel. The firework show was at Centenniel Olympic park but we sat right outside by the Coke Museum where it wasn't AS crowded until later on. Here is where we sat. Madi and Logan A Little bit of the city around us. Bryn Girl My family :) Madi and Uncle Andy (such a cute picture!) The other Burchs :) Before the fireworks Brynli started crying. She had been fussy all night and I had had it so right when the fireworks started John and I decided to pack up and leave. We looked around us and it was packed. So John picked up the double stroller and carried it over all the people sitting on their blankets. Once we got to the side walk, there was security blocking most the exits. Finally we found a way down to the street just to find another crowd that we couldn't get through. We just set the stroller down and started pushing. Some people moved because they felt bad we had a screaming baby and others glared at us and wouldn't move. So John rammed their ankles until they did haha. Some people weren't happy as you could imagine but at least there were no fights :). When we got a couple of blocks away Brynli had finally calmed down so we stopped and let Madi watch the fireworks. Here is her reaction...
