North Pole, Alaska!!

John's Mom and sister, Amanda came to visit us at the end of June. It was so nice to have family there and company throughout the day while John was working! We did all of the touristy stuff in Fairbanks and there is a lot more to do then I expected.

The first day we went to North Pole, Alaska.

It's not a very big town but it is really cute. It's about 15 minutes from Fairbanks. You can go visit Santa's house because that is where he lives, of course! The whole town has Christmas decorations lining the streets year round

and all of their streets have Christmas names

All of the light poles and marquee for the grocery store and bank are candy canes. Even the 4 cement poles that they put around fire hydrents were candy canes!

And here is a random house in the North Pole. What a fun place to live.

Here are some of the fun things we did there!!
We went to Santa's house!

We saw a big moose and the girls thought it was so funny!

We rode in Santa's sleigh.

We visited Santa Clause!!
Madi could have sat on his lap all day but Brynli didn't want anything to do with him ha ha.

And we saw Santa's Reindeer!

Madi and Bryn riding the reindeer :)
